  • On June 14, 2023, an official replica of the Velarde 1734 Map was donated to Bahay Tsinoy, the museum of the Chinese in Philippine life, through Kaisa Heritage Foundation, Inc. (KHF).

     

    Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication (AIJC) and NOW Group Chairman Mel Velasco Velarde led the turnover ceremony.

     

    The "Mother of All Philippine Maps" was received by KHF Executive Trustee Teresita Ang See, Kaisa Para Sa Kaunlaran, Inc. (KPSK) President Michael Guzman and KPSK Executive Vice President Reynard Hing.
