  • On January 8, 2025, Mr. Mel Velasco Velarde presented replicas of the Murillo Velarde 1734 Map to Rep. Erwin Aksa, a businessman and politician who is currently serving as a Member of Parliament representing DKI Jakarta III.


    Mr. Aksa served as Deputy Chairman for Strategic Mobilization in the Golkar Party, advocating for economic inclusivity and entrepreneurial growth. He is also the Vice President Commissioner of Bosowa Corporation, a company with interests in cement, automotive, and infrastructure.






    Mr. Aksa was joined by Mr. Munafri Arifuddin, recently elected Mayor of Makassar; Mr. Ahmad Zaky Amiruddin, CEO of PT Kalla Kakao Industri; Mr. Hudli Huduri and Ms. Dara Nasution of the transition team for Makassar; Mr. Muhammad Taufik, researcher; and Mr. Muhammad Luthfi from Mr. Aksa’s Operational Team.
