TWINNING AGREEMENT

We, Amalia Morales Asensio and Casimiro A. Ynares III, Mayors of Láujar de Andarax and Antipolo City in the Philippines, aware of the deep historical ties shared by our peoples, and recognizing the significance of our shared civilization reflected in the many Hispanic symbols found in both cities, rooted in the earliest interactions between our ancestors through the maritime routes pioneered by Spanish explorers;

Considering that historical events must continue to unfold as a trajectory that leads humanity towards a more united and fraternal world, and that travel and exchanges enrich and liberate peoples, fostering respect for the different cultures of our planet;

On this day, we solemnly commit ourselves to:

Maintain permanent ties between our cities, enhancing mutual understanding and collaboration, promoting cultural exchange through diverse activities, and strengthening the bonds of friendship and solidarity that already exist among our people, convinced that these fraternal relationships will bring numerous benefits to our citizens, contributing significantly to the extent of mutual possibilities and resources towards the necessary enterprise of peace and prosperity.
